Hello My Name Is...

    I started teaching at Mitchell High twenty three years ago, after three years I came to Bowman, and now teach sixth grade math. Even though teaching teenage students can be stressful, I do enjoy my job.
    I received a B.S.B.A in Management, a B.S. in Information Systems, a B.S. in Education, and a minor in Math from Appalachian State University.
    I am married to Julie, and have two wonderful girls Brinkley and Lacey. Outside of school I grow Christmas trees and raise cattle, fainting goats and miniature donkeys. I enjoy farming, hunting and fishing and watching any sport that my girls are involved in. I am a member of Mine Creek Baptist church. My hope is to make a positive difference in the life of the students that I  come in contact with.
